Do you have big plans for celebrating Independence Day? When I was growing up, we always spent the whole day celebrating. We would get up early and head to the parade. As soon as the parade was finished we would go to the city park where there were dozens of booths set up for all kinds of different things. We’d usually spend some time at the reservoir, playing in the water, before heading to the demolition derby that night. It was a long, fun-filled day. I’m convinced that my home town knows how to celebrate. It just isn’t the same living in the city. I would travel to my home town every year for the 4th of July if I could, but making that trip when my husband has to work the day before and after is just too hard. We haven’t really been able to find great ways to celebrate in the city, but maybe this year we’ll be able to find something. However, adding these Happy Independence Day Foil Tags to almost any treat will help us in our celebrations! I’m sharing these tags with you today, and I’d love to hear how you would use them!

Happy Independence Day Foil Tags Supplies:
- Minc Foil Applicator
- Transfer Folder
- Reactive Foil (Red & Blue)
- Happy Independence Day Tags (for personal use only)
Preheat your Minc machine to 3. Make sure your machine is set to forward. Place your printed tags into the transfer folder and place foil over the top of them.
Close the folder and place it into the Minc.
Once it’s through, open the transfer folder. It’s like magic seeing that foil on your designs. It’s SO fun!
It’s hard to get a great picture of the foil, but you can see it a little better here.
Using a pair of scissors, cut out each of the stars.
Punch a hole in the tags.
Use some baker’s twine to tie the Happy Independence Day Foil Tags onto a simple treat or goodie bag to help you celebrate the 4th of July.
What kind of treat would you attach them to?
Aren’t they so fun all lined up and shiny? I seriously fall more in love with foil, every time I get to use it!
I attached these to some 4th of July Rice Krispie Treats.
I think I need to be off to find what else I could attach these cute tags too.
They are perfect for your 4th of July celebrations!
I know I’ll be using some of these Happy Independence Day Foil Tags to help us celebrate the 4th of July this year. Tell me in the comments what you’re plans are for the holiday. I’d love to hear!
