Are you one that likes to wear makeup? Me, I like to wear it, but some makeup doesn’t like me. My eyes get irritated when I wear eye makeup at times, and I honestly don’t love to take the time to put it on all the time (or take it off when I wear it). This week though? I’m going on day five that I’ve worn it and I might just wear it everyday (except Saturday). That might just be a record for me. I mean, I used to wear it daily, wouldn’t leave the house without it, but it just isn’t a priority for me anymore. And, I don’t leave the house all that much, other than to take kids to and from school and work. So, you know, not any real reason to wear it. BUT, this week as I’ve been wearing it, of course I can’t wear makeup without doing my hair, so I’ve been doing my hair and makeup and guess what?! I just feel better. I feel more confident, I like myself more, and that little voice in my head that likes to tell me lies about myself that aren’t true, doesn’t have as much to say when I’ve gotten ready for the day. Plus, I just feel pretty. 🙂 It probably helped that I did buy me some new eye makeup last week. It is just the ELF brand, but it’s one of those compacts that flips open and has about 10 shades of eye shadow, and I’ve been having fun with that! With all that said, I can’t say that I wear lipstick very often. I’ll wear lipstick if I cover it with a gloss. Lipstick alone is a little too dry for me and I always feel like I can’t kiss my husband when I have it on. Am I the only one? Anyway, I made this cute Easy Lipstick Pouch with Foil Iron-On to store lipstick and gloss in, and I’m kind of loving it. Not only is it cute for all the time, but it would even make a cute Valentine gift.

Easy Lipstick Pouch with Foil Iron-On Supplies:
- Felt Pouch (I found mine at Target several months ago)
- Pink Foil Iron-On
- Cricut Maker
- Weeding Tools
- EasyPress
- EasyPress Mat
I opened up Cricut Design Space and found a set of lips that I thought would work for what I wanted. Since I was cutting it from Foil Iron-on, I used the same instructions for cutting HTV. I just made sure the setting was set to foil iron-on.
After placing my foil iron-on on my mat, I cut the design with the Cricut Maker.
I placed the lips design onto the felt pouch where I wanted it.
Once the EasyPress was set to the correct heat setting for the foil iron-on + felt, I pressed it. You can find the correct heat and time setting on the EasyPress Interactive Quick Reference Guide.
After the front was pressed, I pressed the back as well. Then I was ready to peel up the carrier sheet.
I adore the way this Easy Lipstick Pouch turned out. I wish I could really show you just how great the foil iron-on looks. It is so hard to take a picture of.
With all my lipsticks and glosses in this pouch, I just might find myself wanting to put lipstick on a little more often! It’s just so cute!
