Camp Hair Don’t Care Hat

Is there anything more true when you’re out camping?! When I’m out camping, I’m sure not worried about what my hair looks like. It is either pulled back in a messy bun, or it is under a hat! What is more fun than a hat with some fun words on it? This Camp Hair Don’t Care Hat is a quick and easy project that is perfect to keep your hair out of the way while camping.

Having a hat to wear while out camping is always a good idea for a few reasons. It keeps your hair out of the way of getting in your face, getting singed from fire, and it also helps keep the sun off of your face. I love wearing a hat while camping because I don’t have to think about doing my hair. Last year when I was headed to girls camp, I knew I wanted a hat with this cute saying on it. In Cricut Design Space, I found this fun design and then used some dark gray HTV to cut it out. 

Using the EasyPress I applied it to my hat. Using the EasyPress Mini would make this project even easier. At the time, I didn’t have an EasyPress Mini, so I just used the small EasyPress. This hat doesn’t have anything in it making it stiff, so it worked to do this. 

You can find inexpensive hats to put HTV on at Walmart and on Amazon (how fun would this one be?!) What kind of design would you put on your camping hat? I have a second hat that I’ll be putting something on soon as well.
