First off, I want to give a shout out to all of those that follow this little blog, and those that subscribe in a reader! THANK YOU!! It’s nice to know that there are others who like what we make and do!
The other day my 4 year old was playing with my 11 month old, making him laugh. I LOVED it. It was so fun watching them play peek-a-boo. I snapped quite a few photos, but I couldn’t decided which pictures I wanted to use (I have a hard time eliminating good photos), so I just used them all. I printed my favorite as a 5×7 and then made wallets of the rest.
I used some Bella Blvd Super Stud paper for this, it was one of those sheets that is just strips of cute paper and squares of stuff, and you have to cut it all up. If I could have, I would have bought a sheet of each of them, but when I found the paper, it was all by itself, so I decided to grab it and run! 🙂
I think this star paper is so cute! I love that it is such boyish colors.
I love being able to journal on cute and colorful lined paper. I can’t write in a straight line otherwise. 🙂
I thought these words described these two boys to a T.
I think one of my favorite parts of the Bella Blvd paper was the square that says “I {heart} this boy.” It was all so fun to work with.
If you know me well, you know that I of course couldn’t go without using some Thickers!
I decided to try the ribbon technique where you sew it to the page, but you put a wrinkle in it every little bit. I really like how it turned out. This is some American Crafts ribbon that matches perfectly.
Supplies: Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Paper: Bella Blvd Super Stud; Rub-ons, Letter Stickers, Ribbon, Pen: American Crafts; Thread: Guterman; Adhesive: Glue Dots.
With all the sewing that was doing, I’ve had a hard time getting back into scrapbooking. It’s not that I haven’t wanted to, it’s just that my creative flow goes one way at a time. I wish I could make it do both. haha. Anyway, I was glad that these pages turned out like they did. I really like them, and it’s helped me to get back in my scrapbooking groove. Does anyone else out there ever have a hard time shifting gears when they are creating?
