Have you guys heard? Cricut is coming out with a free online program to design and create {using your cartridges}, and then cut with. I’ve been pretty excited about this program, for the simple fact of being able to weld images. And from what I understand, you can share the files with others so they don’t have to design their own if they like what you made. I’ve been using it a little bit, and after a few bumps in the road and spending a little bit of time on the phone with the Customer Service department at Cricut/Provo Craft, I’ve got it figured out, and I’m LOVING it!
So far some of the pros I’m seeing with this is that you can weld, squish more items on your paper {less wasted paper}, and it’s totally free. {Although it’s still in the Beta Testing stages.}
Some of the cons: It is a little unclear of how to get everything set up to work. I called customer service and they were VERY helpful at getting it up and running. And I don’t keep my Cricut by my computer, so I have to haul it out to use it, but I can live with that! 🙂
So if you are interested in checking out Cricut Craft Room head on over to Cricut.com. You are required to update your Cricut to the newest firmware {which I assume, will make other non cricut programs unusable, I don’t have any of those programs, so I don’t know for sure}, download the program onto your computer, and have a user name and password.
This is NOT a sponsored post. I just like the Cricut Craft Room program, and thought I would share this information with others.
And stay tuned! Next week I’ll be back to show you the book I made with the cut outs above.
