I live in a split entry home, and when you walk in, these cute little black shelves are right at the top of the stairs. I guess I could say that they greet anyone who comes to our home. Well, I like to change out the decor on the shelves. When I got out my Fall decor, I didn’t really have enough to do these shelves with. I decided that I’d make a fall block, similar to my lucky block. These blocks are about 7 inches long and 2.5 inches tall. They are perfect for this little spot in my house.
I started by painting the block, and then adhereing paper to the front of it.
Then I distressed the block and sanded the paper down.
I cut out my vinyl and put it on, then tied a ribbon around it, and I was done.
I love little projects like these. They are quick and easy and cute! I’ve been thinking about trying to sell some of these for all different occasions. Let me know if you’d be interested.

You make the cutest signs, Amy! 🙂
