Yesterday I shared with you about being able to go to Cricut. Well, my sister was able to go along with me. It was so fun to have her there! She didn’t have the chance to make her gift for the exchange, so I offered, since I already had an idea in mind. This Joy Block is what I came up with.
I took this block that is about 2 1/2″ x 7″. I painted, added paper, vinyl letters (cut using my Cricut) for the J and Y and then added the metal snowflake.
This was such an easy project, and don’t you just love the rustic look of it?!
Next week I’ll be sharing some fun friend, neighbor, and teacher Christmas gift ideas. I hope you’ll stop by!

So cute! I have seen a lot of projects popping up using something else for the letter “O” in JOY. So cute! I love the snowflake you used. 🙂
very cute! I love the metal snowflake and the rustic look is awesome:)
What a fun project, Amy!! I would love for you to link this post to my Tasty Thursdays linky party going on right now. Thanks, Nichi http://mandatorymooch.blogspot.com/2012/12/tasty-thursdays-20.html
