Have you ever been in a situation and find yourself thinking “pinch me, this is too good to be true!” Well, last night I had the chance to go to Provo Craft headquarters for a blogger Christmas party! If you aren’t familiar with Provo Craft, they are the makers of the Cricut! I’ve never been shy about sharing my love for my Cricut here at The Happy Scraps, I use it all the time in my crafting! For the Christmas party last night, we had a gift exchange. I decided to make this fun Merry & Bright board for my gift.
I used my Cricut and the Cricut Craft Room to design my vinyl, and did the reverse vinyl technique. I used the negative of the vinyl rather than the actual letters this time. Once I had the sign all painted, I distressed it.
The big red ampersand sign is my favorite part of the whole sign.
I LOVE the way this sign turned out and was so excited to find out who received it! Even if I did wish, a little bit, that I could keep it! 🙂
Have you had any gift exchanges yet this year? What did you take for it?
