A couple of years ago, I made my husband a Valentine’s Day Card. I thought I was safe to post it here before I gave it to him, but he saw the post and knew what the card looked like that I was planning to give him. 🙂 Last year, I got a little bit smarter, I made a card, took pictures, and I’m just posting it now. That way I won’t be spoiling any surprises for him. (Because he does read this blog!)
This is the card that I made. I cut some white strips, and glued them on, then cut the black flag shape, and put that on as well.
Using my Cricut and the Doodletype cartridge, I cut this heart. I wrapped some twine around it and used dimension squares to make it pop off the card.
It came together really quickly, and I love the way it turned out! Although, I haven’t made many lately, cards are one of my very favorite things to make!
