Santa’s Lap [Scrapbook Layout]

Do you remember back when I used to share scrapbook pages here at The Happy Scraps? Have you missed it? I sure have! I really got out of the habit. It is something I want to do, but it just doesn’t happen.  Another thing that I want to do more of is make cards.  Cards are so fun to make, and they come together quickly.
Anyway, here is a layout I did of my boys with Santa and Mrs. Clause from 2011.  One thing about not scrapbooking for a while, it is hard for me to get back into it!  I hope to change that soon.  I’m hoping to get at least one page done a week.  I realized that that is a very reachable goal, so I really hope I can stick to it.

It’s not really a secret that I like these paper lollies.  I decided that I wanted to put one on this page as an embellishment.

Using the Alphalicious Cricut cartridge I cut out the title, then I inked the edges of the letters with green.

I added these patterned paper flags on the side of the page, then added thickers for the year.  I also added the buttons.

Have you done any scrapooking lately?  I hope to have more to share with you soon, but don’t hold your breath. 🙂
