Wow, what a crazy week this was for me. A lot of dear loved ones suffering and going through a tuff time. In hopes of lifting their spirits {and mine as well} I decided to throw some little thinking of you gifts together.
I made this card for a friend in the middle of a divorce. My heart breaks for her and her sweet family.
Just wanted her to know I am here to help any way I can.
Next I made this thinking of you in prayer card for my cute friend whose father just passed away.
I can’t even begin imagine how hard it would be to lose a parent. I bought some pretty flowers and delivered them in hopes of lifting their spirits a little.
Next I needed to come up with a masculine gift for a man AND a diabetic. Those are both always tuff for me to give too. Food is always good for a guy right?! Not so much a diabetic. In this case his blood sugar was dangerously low, he almost died!
I bought some emergency glucose tablets and an emergency glucose drink and put it in this adorable little paper basket I bought at a scrapbook yard sale. The baskets are tiny and the gifts were the perfect size. It was kind of a silly gift, but it seemed to go over well.
This is the card I made for him. I was able to use scraps for ALL of the cards and that just makes me happy.
I actually had some “thinking of you” cards already on hand, but there is just something about making something specifically for someone in mind. I sure hope they all know how much I care about them and that these little gifts lifted their spirits.
