A couple of weeks ago I got a graduation announcement in the mail from one of my cousins. I was excited that I got one, because my kids aren’t old enough yet to have friends graduating, all of my siblings are out of high school, so that just leaves cousins for now. Not only is my cousin graduating high school, but he is also getting ready to leave and serve on an LDS mission. I knew that I wanted to give him something that could be helpful for both situations. I decided that I would make a simple card and give him some cash. So that is what I did, in his school colors of course. Here is my Simple Graduation Gift.
I’m pretty sure that this is one of the easiest cards I’ve ever made. Easy because I opened up Cricut Craft Room and designed this 2013 design in about 5 minutes, then I turned on my Cricut Expression and cut this out. If you are interested in the design, you must have the Martha Stewart Birthday Cake Art cartridge and you can download the file here, and cut it out. Once it was cut out, using pop up squares, I mounted the 2013 on the card, tied some twine on it, and I was finished.
I wrote a note inside and put some cash in and sealed it in the envelope. What is your go to Graduation Gift?

This is super cute. My sister is graduating this year! 🙂
