Do you have something hanging on your front door for Spring time? Once St. Patrick’s day was over, I had to take down my St. Patrick’s Day wreath, but I really didn’t want to. I wanted to leave it up, cause every time I walked in my front door, it just brightened my day. So, I decided that I wanted to change it up and make a Spring Bunting Wreath out of the same wreath, so I could enjoy it on my front door for a while longer.
Using the free Cricut Design Space I found the shapes and font that I wanted and cut them out of some My Mind’s Eye, Now & Then Dorothy paper, using my Cricut Explore machine. Can I just tell you guys how amazing this machine it? It is awesome, and I’d have to say that my very favorite feature is that I can cut out fonts that are on my computer! I used a downloaded font for the Spring letters on this little banner. No cartridge! The possibilities are endless.
Once I had the little bunting all put together, I used some jute twine to string it together, along with the second bunting. Then I just tied them onto the wreath.
I decided to use some yellow ribbon to hang it with. I wanted it a little wider than just one ribbon width, so I used two strands.
I’m so happy that I redid this wreath so I can enjoy it for a little longer this season.
