You know, I love putting together simple gift ideas for neighbors at Christmas time. I’ve shared several with you before, and today, I have another one for you. It is so simple, it is almost too good to be true! Last week, I was a Michael’s picking up some cardstock for some other projects I was working on, and the end caps near the scrapbook paper were chock full of the best Recollections Holiday Paper Collections! I thought I might die of cuteness overload! There are so many fun kits and basic crafting supplies, just in time for the holidays. I picked out my supplies, headed home and got to work. Today, I’m sharing this 5 Minute Neighbor Gift idea with you that I came up with.
There were so many cute things. I had a hard time choosing what I wanted, because I wanted it ALL! The wooden tags are all adorable. There were snowflakes, mason jars, to/from tags, and many others along with these Merry Christmas tags. And the clothes pins. Oh the clothes pins. I saw the small ones first. I had my heart set on them, and then my husband (he was shopping with me) saw the big ones, and then I had to have both of them. The designs on them are just too cute! Not only that, but all of the different Recollection supplies and kits are such a great deal! There were so many cute embellishments that would be perfect for the top of gifts. Ahhh, now that’s got me thinking again, maybe I need to go back. I could coordinate all the packages under the tree, with all this adorableness! Am I crazy, or are you guys like this when you shop too? π
For this gift today, I decided to use the cute Red Berry baskets, Green Twine, Merry Christmas tags and large Clothes Pins. I also used a cellophane bag that I had on hand.
I pulled out one of the baskets.
Then filled it up with some clementines. Since citrus is in season, and this time of year there are plenty of sweets to go around, I thought I’d use some fruit, but you could put anything in the berry basket.
I put the whole basket in a cellophane bag and then I tied the top with some green twine.
Now, you just use your clothes pin to attached the wood tag to the twine.
Just whip up a few more, and you are all ready to hand out the gifts to your neighbors. It is cute and festive and it didn’t take a lot of time out of your holiday season.
Just head on into Michael’s and pick up your supplies, but you better hurry before they are gone. All these cute supplies are sure to disappear of the shelves quickly. Get yours all put together quick, your neighbors are sure to love it!

This looks perfect for a neighbor gift and so fun! I love this idea!
