Valentine Brownie Bites with Heart Embossed Napkins

I wouldn’t call myself a huge chocoholic, I really don’t love chocolate that much. Give me sweet and sugary candy, and I’m all over that. The ONE chocolate thing that I just can’t get enough of is Brownies. Just the Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie Mix. And I love the edges! Last year when I hosted bunko at my house, I decided to make my own Brownie Bites, and I discovered that 1) these are pretty much all edges {MY FAVE} and 2) they cook in 10 minutes! (Although it does take longer to put them in the pan, so it probably takes the same amount of time over all.) ANYWAY, today I’m sharing these fun Valentine Brownie Bites with you, along with these fun Heart Embossed Napkins.

Like I said before, I just use the very basic Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie Mix. (This is an amazon affiliate link just to show you what I use, but if you are going to get some, head to Walmart, they are cheaper!) Mix it up according to the directions on the back of the package. Also set your oven temperature to what the box says.

Since I discovered how well this works, I picked up enough Mini Muffin Tins (from Michael’s) to do a whole box of brownies this way (4 dozen worth). The other trick is using Pam with Flour so you can get your Brownies out in one piece.

Scoop the brownie batter into your sprayed mini muffin tins.

I like to use my cookie scoop, it is just the right size to put the perfect amount in the tin.

It fills the holes about 1/2 full.

Put your brownies in the oven for 10 minutes to bake. Let the brownies cool, then use a knife to loosen the edges, and pull them out of the pan, and set them on the cooling rack.

I whipped up some Whipping Cream and put it on the tops.

To make these perfect for Valentine’s Day, just sprinkle them with some Valentine sprinkles.

Once I had my Valentine Brownie Bites all made, I paired them with my Heart Embossed Napkins. These are so simple to make, I used the Happy Heart Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and my cuttlebug. If you’d like to make your own, I have a tutorial here.

These little Brownies look so festive on these napkins, don’t they?

My husband is convinced that these taste even better after they’ve been chilled. I liked them both ways, after all, it is a brownie with edges. 😉

These look amazing and I never thought of chilling them, but I bet they’re really good that way. Thanks for sharing at the This Is How We Roll Link Party at Organized 31.
