I love this time of year, gearing up for Thanksgiving and getting ready for Christmas, and all that comes with it. I don’t know about you guys, but I can certainly get stressed about all that needs to be done. Everything from Christmas cards to neighbor gifts to shopping to baking goodies. It can get overwhelming, but there are shortcuts that can help, and I’m excited to share one of those shortcuts with you today. Heidi Swapp has a new line of Christmas goodies out exclusively at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores and on their website. I put a very simple Christmas Neighbor Gift together using the fun supplies in the line.
I baked some of my favorite cookies, homemade oreo sandwich cookies, and knew these Heidi Swapp treat packages would be the perfect packaging for my cookies. I adore the cellophane with designs on it, and this red striped cellophane reminds me of candy canes. I set a stack of cookies on the pretty cellophaone.
Then I gathered the cellophane around the cookies and tied it at the top with some Christmas baker’s twine.
I picked out the gold polka dotted Merry Christmas box and put it together. Then I took my cellophane wrapped cookies and placed them inside the box.
I love that these boxes are self sealing. You just peel the strip off the closure and it’s sticky. I ran a piece of baker’s twine through the top of the box, and then sealed the box.
Using one of the snowflake tags that came with the boxes, I punched a hole in the top to use it as a gift tag.
I attached the snowflake tag to the top of the box using the baker’s twine I had placed in the top before I sealed it.
One of my very favorite parts about this gift box is that “Merry” is written in the classic Heidi Swapp writing. I love her handwriting, and is the perfect touch to this Christmas Neighbor Gift.
I can’t wait to make more treats to share for Christmas Neighbor Gifts with the goodies from this Heidi Swapp Holiday line. With the snowflake and NOEL cookie cutters, I know my boys will have a blast making cookies. And that rolling pin? It makes little tree designs all over the cookie dough. I can’t wait to give that a try! Not only can you get baking supplies, but there are Christmas cards as well. They are too cute as well, and you are sure to find something in your price range. Don’t wait to head to your Jo-Ann Stores to purchase these products because when they are gone, they are gone, and with as cute as these are, they are going to sell fast! Head to Jo-Ann today to get your holiday baking and packaging supplies.
