Maybe I’m a little crazy or maybe I’m a little weird, but I love to dress up ordinary things, even if they don’t need any dressing up! Soda bottles seem like the perfect item to dress up for summer, right? I decided that I’d dress up the box of these Strawberry Crush drinks and it would make a great gift for taking to a backyard barbecue or even on a picnic. Today, I’m going to show you how easy this Dressed Up Summer Soda is to do.

Dressed Up Summer Soda Supplies:
- Strawberry Crush or other soda
- Brightly Colored Cardstock Weight Paper
- Stickers
- Adhesive
- Paper Trimmer
- Paper Straws
- Baker’s Twine
- Ink Pad
- Baby Powder (optional)
- Dimensional Adhesive
- Pen
Use your paper trimmer to cut your paper to the height of the box. Wrap it around the box and secure it at the seams. Cut a piece of paper to cover the handle. Ink the edges, then attach it to the handle area. (You can cut the handle out if you’d prefer.
Find your supplies that you want to use to embellish the box. If you use stickers, put some baby powder on the back of them, to take the sticky away. Ink the edges of the banner shaped piece. Attach the banner shaped piece to the box, then use dimensional adhesive to attach the other embellishments.
Use your pen to draw a bee path.
Tie your paper straws to the top of the bottle with some baker’s twine.
Your cute box full of Dressed Up Summer Soda is all ready to go! Where would you take this?!
Isn’t the foiled “why hello” tag so fun?! I also love the strawberries, lemon, & bee.
The straws tuck in to the sides of the box, and I love the way they look sticking up.
So next time you’re headed out for a fun get together, put together some Dressed Up Summer Soda!
This would even be fun to take to a S’mores Summer Get Together this summer!
