Did you have a good 4th of July? We had a good one, taking it easy and enjoying spending the day together as a family. How has the rest of your summer been? It has been crazy for us. It is hard for me having the kids home from school and keeping them occupied and entertained, and keeping the fighting and whining to a minimum. Anyone else struggle with this, or is it just me?
Do you still have your 4th of July Decor up? I’ll admit that I still do, but I feel like I can because our we celebrate our great state of Utah on the 24th, so it works for both! When I do take down the Independence Day decor, I’ll be putting up summer decorations. Today I thought I would share a round up of some past Summer Projects that I’ve made.
These Summer letters are some of my very favorite! I love the way these turned out and I’m so glad I have a picture. I had a sweet reader email me and ask if she could purchase these a few months back and so I sold them. I’ve bought myself another set, and am going to finish the, I just wish I could get the same paper, because I love the way this set turned out so much! Oh well, I’m sure I can find some other fun paper to use. 🙂
This is my Flip Flop Door Hang. Isn’t it SO fun?! I love the bright colors, and it just brightens my day to see it on my front door.
How about a Sweet Bite of Watermelon? A couple of weeks ago, I share a picture on Instagram of my son pretending to eat this. That boy is a character! I love this watermelon, because it fits in a small space, yet it screams Summer.
Here is another door hanger, my Hello Sunshine. If this doesn’t brighten someones day when they come to the door, I don’t know what would!
And last but certainly not least, this fun Summer Banner! Banners are one of my very favorite ways to decorate. They are simple and fun to make.
