Aren’t Valentine’s so much fun to put together?! I’ve been having a lot of fun with them this year. The other day I shared a fun little Valentine idea that you could use to give to teachers or friends. Today I’m sharing another fun idea. This “Glad You’re in my School” Valentine is perfect for kids to give to classmates. This could also used to give to a teacher.

You’ll need a few supplies:

  • Hey, Valentine Clear Stamp Set
  • Island Indigo Classic Stampin’ Pad
  • Whisper White Cardstock
  • Strawberry Slush Thick Baker’s Twine
  • Banners Framelits Die
  • Patterned paper of your choice
  • Non Electronic Die Cutting Machine
  • Cellophone bags
  • Hole Punch
  • Swedish Fish (for fish crackers)

Using the Fish stamp and Island Indigo Ink, stamp your image onto Whisper White Cardstock. Line up the Banner Framelit around your stamped image. I used the second to the largest die for this.

Put it through the die cutting machine to cut it out. Using the largest Banners Framlit, cut out your patterned paper in the same way.

To make it easier for the paper to stay lined up, I put a strip of adhesive on the back, across the top of the stamped tag. Then lined them up and stuck the together.

I folded over the top of my bag, lined up the tag where I wanted it, and then punched my holes. I let it unfold after, but this makes it easy to get all the holes lined up.

Lace your twine through the holes, so that when it is pulled tight the bag folds behind the tag.

Tie your twine in the front.

I had fun using different ribbons and twines on these to add some Valentine fun.

Grab all the supplies you need and sit down to put these together. You’ll have them done in no time!

Do you prefer to give Valentines with treats or without? I can’t decided what I prefer. 🙂

Disclosure: I was sent supplies in exchange for creating a project and posting about it. No monetary compensation was given.
