I can’t believe Easter is this weekend! I had a few Easter projects I wanted to make this year, and between it coming early and having a baby to take care of, it just hasn’t happened. And that’s ok. Maybe next year I can get to them. 🙂 I did however make the time to put this Foiled Happy Easter Canvas together. It was actually a really quick project. These days, quick projects are some of my favorites. It makes me feel productive even with the little time I have between snuggling my cute little boy! 🙂 I could honestly hold him all day long, but alas I do have to do the dishes and laundry and get a few other things done as well. Anyway, today, I’m going to show you how I put this fun Happy Easter Canvas together.

Supplies:
- Heidi Swapp Minc Machine w/ Transfer Folder
- Heidi Swapp Pastel Colored Reactive Foils
- Heidi Swapp Minc Toner Sheets
- Heidi Swapp Minc Die Cut Jumbo Words
- Heidi Swapp Minc Polka Dot Alphabets
- Cricut Explore w/ Cutting Mat
- Canvas painted white
Using the Cricut Explore, cut out some eggs. I found one in the Cricut library that I liked, and knew I’d be able to cut it in different sections. I used the Toner paper, and cut the eggs out.
I picked a letter or two and parts of the eggs, placed them in the transfer folder and then put them through the Minc.
Once I had every thing foiled, I laid it all out.
I placed them on the canvas to see how they would all fit. I used dimensional adhesive to attach the eggs, and word Easter, and then non dimensional adhesive for the “happy”.
It was such an easy project, but I love the way it turned out. There is just something about the foil! I’m sure the Easter Bunny will find us for sure now. 😉
And here it is with the rest of my Easter decor. I kept it a little more simple this year, and added a few new things that I found in the Target Dollar Spot. I like how it turned out though. After this weekend I’ll transition it more into Spring decor.
