Over the last week, I’ve started getting my front porch ready for Fall. I put my Fall Porch Pumpkins out, and I knew that my Hello Front Door Sign had to come down. I didn’t want to take it down though. I love that door sign, and since I loved it so much, I decided to make a new one that goes better with my Fall decorations. Today I’m sharing this fun Welcome Fall Front Door Decor with you as well as what my porch is looking like for Fall so far.

Welcome Fall Front Door Decor Supplies:
- Banner Door Hang (If you purchase in store, you can just get the door hang. It is not available online by itself, but this one is one of the cheapest online)
- Banner Punch Board
- Paint (Straw & White)
- Paint Brush
- Fall Paper
- Ribbon
- Twine
- Vinyl Stencil (email me at [email protected] to purchase one for $5, shipping included)
- Vinyl (if you don’t purchase one from me)
- Cricut Explore Machine
I started by painted my wood with the straw paint.
Using the Banner Punch Board I cut some little two inch bunting pieces.
I placed the banner/bunting pieces down on the table and decided the pattern that I wanted once I strung them together.
I inked the edges of the banner pieces.
Using some small brown twine, I put the banner together.
I placed the banner on my wood in the position that it would sit once it was attached, so I could see where I needed to place my vinyl stencil. It was at this point that I realized that I had created a vinyl decal, and not a stencil, so I cut another one using my Cricut Explore. 🙂 If you purchase one, I promise you’ll get a stencil. 😉 I put my vinyl onto my wood, and got the white paint out and painted the letters.
Once I had it all painted, I peeled up the vinyl. Then I attached the mini banner.
I just simply tied the banner strings on the back of the wood.
I grabbed some brown striped ribbon and made the hanger with it.
I was so excited to hang this on my door!
I love the way the two different fonts look together.
And the banner. Sigh. I love banners, but you already knew that if you’ve been around The Happy Scraps very long.
Tell me, what is your favorite part?
So far, I’m pretty happy with the way my porch is coming together for Fall. I’m still in love with my Front Porch Bench!
I still need to get my Fall Arrows out, and find me some pumpkins and maybe some cornstalks. But for now, I’m happy with it!
