You guys! Have you pulled out your Christmas decorations yet? I was pulling down the Christmas boxes last week. I sent my husband a text message telling him that we needed to get rid of some Christmas decor. We have SO much. I have three large totes, a large cardboard box, and my two small trees and one large tree aren’t even in those boxes. SO much stuff, but it’s all SO fun! I decorate a lot more of my house for Christmas than I do for any other holiday. This year though, I think I’m going to go through stuff and if I don’t use it, I’m going to get rid of it. We just don’t need to store stuff if we aren’t using it. 🙂 However, I am excited to have this out for Christmas this Merry Christmas Wood Letter Set out this year. I finished this up last year, but I don’t think I got it put up.

I picked up my wood from The Wood Connection as well as the paint. I used my Cricut Explore to cut out the vinyl “Christmas” and used some red glitter that I had on hand.
I painted all of my wood red.
I put a second coat of red paint over the top after the first layer dried, and put the glitter over it. The glitter sticks to the wet paint. 🙂
I shook the excess glitter off and sprayed it with a sealer spray. I put my vinyl on the bottom block and this quick and easy project was finished.
I love the contrast of the red with the silver vinyl, don’t you?
