One of my very favorite kinds of stores to shop in is a paper supply store. Not like a scrapbook paper store (those are fun too) but one where you can get shipping boxes and cute packaging. I love going in these stores to see all the pretty paper goods, but also the different kinds of packaging for nearly every little or big thing. I used to live just a few blocks from one and I visited it somewhat regularly. It was my favorite! Since we moved a couple of years ago, I think I’ve only been in there a couple of times. It’s only about 20 minutes away now, but I just don’t make it over that way very often anymore. However, a few months ago, I was looking for a couple of things that I knew I could find at that store, so I headed in. 🙂 I’m never disappointed when I go in that cute little store. While I was there, I found these cute little brown paper sacks with a closure at the top and a window. I thought they would make cute bags for a treat to go in. Then I read the label and learned that these are coffee bags. I had no idea. I don’t drink coffee, I’ve never had coffee or bought coffee or anything like that, so I didn’t have a clue…now I know. But really, don’t these make the cutest Valentine Treat Bag? I can think of all kinds of things I could use these bags for besides coffee, how about you? 🙂

Valentine Treat Bag with Printable Tag Supplies:
- Coffee Bags
- Truffles or other treat
- Printable Tag (for personal use only)
- Cricut Explore Air 2
- Baker’s Twine
- Xyron Sticker Maker
To start off, you need to print out your tags to cut with your Cricut. When you download the file I shared above, there is only one tag. Upload it into Design Space, and make sure to save it as a print file. Once you have it uploaded, duplicate it for as many treat bags as you need. Four of the tags will fit on one sheet to cut. Once I duplicated my tag, I clicked “Make It”. I double checked that it looked good on the next screen, and then clicked “Continue”. I sent it to the printer from Design Space, and then was prompted to load it into my Cricut Explore Air 2 machine to cut it.
Once it was all cut, I pulled the paper off the mat, leaving the tags.
Once I had my tags off the mat, I ran them through my Xyron Sticker Maker. This thing is awesome for so many reasons, but I love how easy it is to just put cardstock through it and then I can stick the tag or label where I need it.
I also love that the labels are easy to peel off and I don’t get sticky all over when I’m ready to use them.
Fill your bag up with your treat of choice.
Then fold it over and close the top of your bag.
Peel one of your stickers up and stick it to your bag where you need it.
Then fold it over onto the back. Once it’s on, you can add some baker’s twine to finish it off.
I think it’s the perfect little gift to give to a spouse.
Or a boyfriend or girlfriend.
Or even if one of your kids has someone they have a crush on, they could give it to them.
And who wouldn’t love to get some yummy Lindt truffles for Valentine’s day?
