I finally feel like it Spring is finally here, at least for the last day or two. We did get some snow this week, but it melted the same day. Spring weather in Utah is so crazy! We had a pretty mild winter up until mid-February, and then it really started snowing. My tulips were starting to come up by the end of January. I think they poor flowers were so confused. Our trees finally got their blooms and last week, I was noticing buds on my tulips. I had to leave for a few days and was just hoping that they wouldn’t all bloom while I was away. Well, they didn’t, and this morning, there are a few that have opened up! I’m so excited!!! You can see them on my Instagram stories today. With Spring, there are a lot of things that come with it! Preparing the vegetable garden, cleaning up the yard after winter, warmer weather, the end of school getting near, and teacher appreciation week! For whatever reason, I really adore Teacher Appreciation Week, and I have fun coming up with gift ideas for it every year! Today, I’m sharing this Thanks for Helping Me Shine – Teacher Appreciation Gift with you.

Thanks for Helping Me Shine – Teacher Appreciation Gift Supplies:
- Cricut Maker or Cricut Explore Air 2
- Cricut Pens
- Design Space File
- White Cardstock
- Light Bulb Paper Clip Dispenser (I found mine at Wal-mart in the office supply section for $1.88)
- Hole Punch
- Ribbon
Once I had the design I wanted to use ready, I got my Cricut Maker turned on. If you aren’t familiar with using the draw and cut, you can read more about it here and here. You’ll be prompted to insert the marker that needs to be used.
When it’s time for the other color of marker, you’ll be prompted to insert it.
Once the machine is done drawing and cutting your design, you’ll have this left on your mat.
Use your hole punch to put a hole where you’d like the tag to hang from.
Grab your ribbon, and string it through the hole on your tag. Tie it around the top of the light bulb.
Once you have the bow tied, you’re all set. You could have several of these put together in no time, and what teacher can’t use paper clips?!
These would make great gifts for resource teacher, reading teachers, teacher aides, etc. Don’t forget to let those extra teachers know that you appreciation them too.
Isn’t the tag so fun?! The Cricut pens are so fun to use and make creating so easy!
Do you have a go to teacher gift that you like to give?
I’ve got several that I like to package up for the teachers each year. You can find them here.
